2006 Healthy Activities Included Supporting Cancer Research

The Inter Tribal Health Authority in Nanaimo sponsored its annual fundraising golf tournament June 16, 2006.

First Nations and local non-native community members participated in the 'best ball/scramble' tournament.

ITHA's Cheryl Holtby reported, " the golf tournament was once again a huge success"

Just over $5,000 was raised towards the fight against lung cancer
