Her upcoming album, NEW MOON BORN, will be released January 20, 2009.

This new album is a significant departure from her previous musical endeavors, taking a decidedly more pop, R&B flavor. Tracks such as “Faded Love” and “Carousel” evoke an old soul flavor, while “Angel” and “For Just One Night” are explosive heartfelt ballads.

Since appearing on the cover of the January 2009 issue of SAY MAGAZINE, Jana has partnered with the publication for an exclusive release of “Solid Ground,” another brand new track, via digital download available now.

Jana Mashonee is the founder of the non-profit organization “Jana’s Kid’s” which awards Native students the only educational scholarship in the United States in all three categories; academic, artistic and athletic achievement.

Jana’s powerful voice coupled with the sensibilities of pop, R&B, world and gospel music create an exciting new sound that seduces the ear and overwhelms the senses.
