APTN FALL SEASON LAUNCHES WITH ABORIGINAL HUMOUR

Postby admin » Mon Jul 23, 2012 3:31 pm

Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) is gearing up for the launch of new fall programming that will have your funny bone asking for more. APTN will feature new seasons of fan favourites, Bionic Bannock Boys and By the Rapids. In addition to great comedy, audiences can expect breathtaking Canadian dramas and unique Aboriginal kids programming.

Every Saturday evening will host an onslaught of rapid fire humor and comedic prescription with back-to-back comedy programming featuring the long awaited season two of Bionic Bannock Boys. These crazy Saskatchewan funny guys are the medicine men of Aboriginal comedy and general practitioners of laughter. Doubling over in fun, the fourth and final season of By the Rapids will join the evening lineup. The Littlehorn gang are back to their unusual antics: corrupt high school elections, evil bingo players and underdog heroes are merely a fraction of the crazy action you will find.

The network premiere of Arctic Air will have APTN audiences in awe over the stunning views and captivating storylines portraying renegade bush pilots at work and play in Canada’s North. The APTN premiere of Heartland will add to that eye-appeal, while portraying the highs and lows of life on a horse ranch in the foothills landscape of the Alberta Rockies.

An APTN Kids favourite, Planet Echo, will return with season two. Whether it’s racing down rapids, exploring a particle accelerator, chasing tornadoes, or rappelling off a cliff, viewers will be swept up by the adventurous spirit of Chuck and Andy and marvel at the infinite possibilities of our world. The education continues with the return of Tiga Talk. Whenever all the adults leave the room, Tiga the plush toy wolf comes to life to teach kids all about the stories, sounds and languages he learned from Kokum.

APTN’s 2012 fall season begins September 3 and new programming will continue to roll out through the fall.
