Saanich Peninsula - Coast Salish Games VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The organization committee is currently looking for volunteers to assist with the Coast Salish Games taking place August 15th – 18th 2011. This year the host communities are Tsawout First Nations and Tsartlip First Nation. We are looking for many volunteers to help make the games run smoothly.

This is a tentative schedule of events are:

August 15th
10-12 opening ceremonies
12-1 lunch
1-9 Hockey

August 16th
8-12 Hockey
12-1 Lunch
1-5 Soccer, Canoe Races & Hockey

August 17th
8-12 Soccer
12-1 Lunch
1-5 Soccer
7- 10 Dance

August 18th
9-11 Breakfast
11-12 Closing Ceremonies
12-4 Soccer, Hockey Finals

Volunteer Information

Looking for:
-First aid attendants
-Referee (soccer & hockey)
-Security – evening camping
-Dance chaperones
-Water table attendants
-Organizing and delivering programming for children and youth (i.e.: games, craft table etc)
