NATIONAL ABORIGINAL ACHIEVEMENT FOUNDATION
Bursaries & Scholarships for
First Nation, Inuit & Métis Students

The National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation (NAAF) is a nationally registered non-profit organization. Since 1988, more than $42.7 million in bursaries and scholarships have been awarded to more than 11,500 First Nation, Inuit & Métis students nationwide. Last year alone over $5 million was awarded to 1,779 recipients.

NAAF’s Education Division would like to invite you to attend an information session on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Westin Bayshore Hotel located at 1601 Bayshore Drive, Vancouver from 10 a.m. until 12 noon OR 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.

You will find out how First Nation, Inuit and Métis students in your area can apply and receive funding while registered in Post Secondary studies or while obtaining personal development or internship training.

There is no cost to participate. If you are interested in attending, please complete the attached registration form or contact 1.800.329.9780 ext 253.

Who should attend?
Education and guidance counselors who are in contact with First Nation, Inuit or Métis students that are planning to attend or are currently enrolled in Post Secondary Education studies
Education Counselors at First Nation Band offices
Employment & Training agencies that work with First Nation, Inuit & Métis clients
First Nation, Métis and Inuit students enrolled in Post Secondary Studies (or will be next September)
Agencies or students interested in Oil Gas Trades and Technology
