Tehaliwaskenhas, thank you for this site. It gives me confidence that First Nations will prevail in their opposition to the pipeline project, even if the review panel is just for show, and even if Stephen Harper thinks it doesn't matter what anyone else wants. I'm very grateful for the united response of aboriginal people to this threat to the land and all the life that depends on it.

I believe that there are many many people in BC and around the world who stand with First Nations in solidarity on this issue. If a time comes when you need us to stand with you physically to stop a pipeline, we will be there.

An organization that coordinates international calls to action is Avaaz, which you likely know about already: http://www.avaaz.org/ca/ It has more than ten million followers, which sounds like a good number to have on your side.

There's probably some time to get prepared as the review goes on and Harper decides how far he can push things. If you have suggestions about helpful things that non-native people can be doing, please let me know - I will be writing to the review panel and newspapers and the government, and encouraging my friends and relatives to do so as well.

Thank you again for publishing the words of First Nations, that give us all courage.
