International Award Wining Cody Blackbird along with his band The Cody Blackbird Band record song to protest Proposed Keystone Pipeline "Promised Land"

While on tour this past fall in a hotel room before a concert with legendary poet/activist John Trudell And The Cody Blackbird Band, "Promised Land" was written and performed nationwide, A song to protest the proposed Keystone Pipeline and mistreatment of land values and disregard of Natural Rights of the Universe. after the tour it was recorded and mixed by Terrance Jaye of Wounded Knee SD.

After a brief battle over censorship by distributors over the controversial cover art of an upside down flag, a statement of distress, Cody Blackbird has gotten the go ahead to release "Promised Land" Internationally with intended album art included!
The Cody Blackbird Band is gearing up for an International 2015 tour that will take them coast to coast, Europe and Australia "Promised Land" is the acoustic single off the upcoming album "This Side Up" that will feature other artist features by other well known artist in both mainstream and underground industries.
