First Nations woman missing in Nanaimo, British Columbia

The Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public assistance in locating 30 year old Trena Morisette.

Morisette left the Nanaimo Regional Hospital on a temporary pass at 12:45 on July 24, 2012. She did not return to the hospital nor to her parent’s home in Nanaimo.

Morisette is a First Nations woman, 163 cm (5'4) tall and weighs 102 kg (225 lbs). She has brown eyes and wears glasses.

Morisette has a shaved head and often wears a head wrap or a dark coloured wig. On July 24, she was wearing a black head wrap, a black long sleeve shirt and white pants.

Morisette has been known to travel to the Vancouver and Whistler areas in the past.

Anyone with information on Trena Morisette's whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345, their local police, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
